Will Kor Whitening get my teeth too white?

Kör will “brilliantly” safely remove the coloration acquired in the tooth structure. There is a built-in limit to the ultimate results. Teeth will never get whiter than the white in your eyes.

Is Invisalign as effective as braces?

Invisalign is steadily surpassing traditional braces in popularity and effectiveness. It is the emerging “gold standard”.

How often should I have my teeth cleaned?

Most adults are best served having professional cleanings 3-4 times a year. Twice a year cleanings are often inadequate to preserve stable and healthy teeth and gums.

Will I ever need to repeat deep cleanings?

Patients who require deep cleanings typically need this repeated every three to five years and, not infrequently, two years is best especially if a three month periodic maintenance schedule is not continue.

Will tooth-colored fillings last as long as amalgams?

The modern restorations we place are not only highly esthetic but as durable as amalgams. These ”composite resins” offer many advantages as well including better tooth support and easier maintenance. Being mercury-free is another plus.

Will the recuperation after wisdom teeth are extracted be long or difficult? Shall I expect to stay home and miss some workdays?

Usually, two to three days are all that patients need to recover fully after most wisdom teeth are extracted. Taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen together is all most patients will find adequate to manage discomfort. Missing work is rarely needed.

Do root canals require multiple visits?

Most root canals nowadays are completed in a single visit.

Must I pay for my dental work as I go or do you offer financing?

We offer many options. These include in-office, low-interest billing and no-interest CareCredit financing up to 24 months.

Are you open on Saturdays?

Yes. Every Saturday from 8:30 until 2:30.

Is it very painful to have dental implants placed?

No. Typically, the discomfort is quite modest, on a par with a routine tooth extraction.
